North Star's STELLAR program stands for Skills Toward Excellence in Learning Life Skills, Advocacy and Rights. It is a program designed to maximize each person’s independence based on their goals in life. It is our goal to foster a lifelong love of learning and creativity. From music to wellness, personal care to how to choose retirement activities, North Star staff will help each person maximize their potential!
We all need to feel valued in our communities! We need friends, clubs, groups and other connections that welcome us as we are. Community Access is designed to help people find those places where they belong…. Their tribes, so to speak, who share time and space with each other and who value what we each can bring to that group.
